About Anna

Anna has always had a keen interest in photography and wanting to understand how cameras worked and the process of developing film and prints, she studied photography at college gaining a national diploma and a foundation degree in photography and lens based media.

After finishing her studies Anna went to live in Shetland for 9 months. Shetland offers brilliant landscapes and wildlife photography. You can see some images of the up helly-a (the Viking fire festival) on the events page, truly an event worth going to see.

After moving back to East Yorkshire Anna continued with photography, getting evermore involved with wedding and portrait photography. Though trained using traditional film and darkroom photographic methods Anna has made the transition to digital, and this is her prime choice.
